Outtake: Fragility #Renzo #Cree

Hey, loves! We’re back for another outtake. I pulled this from the request form, as usual. I want to take a moment to thank my hubby who helped me with some of the details in this outtake, specifically about the medicine wheel. Do enjoy. * A Renzo Outtake Fragility Renzo POV “Ren?” He heard Lucia’s call of his name, but couldn’t be bothered to even turn his head to answer it. That would take a great deal of effort that he was neither capable of, nor interested in. Since his release from the hospital, the visitors had been nonstop. Apparently, Renzo had more people who cared about them that he thought. Not that it mattered. He didn’t want to see them. Or maybe … He didn’t want them to see him like this. Weak. Incapable. Tremors rocking his once steady hands. Scars from surgeries. Burns still healing. Jumbled in his mind. Words that came out wrong. Everything was wrong . He hated it. Which meant he hated himself, too. Instead, he found solace in sitting near windows watching the day and ...

The Cece & Juan Vignettes: Chapter Fourteen - The Queen

Hey, loves! We’re back for the next installment of this blog series. Do enjoy. Do you need to catch up?  CHAPTER ONE CHAPTER TWO CHAPTER THREE CHAPTER FOUR CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER SIX CHAPTER SEVEN CHAPTER EIGHT CHAPTER NINE CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER ELEVEN CHAPTER TWELVE CHAPTER THIRTEEN The Cece & Juan Vignettes Chapter Fourteen – The Queen 18 years old … Cece POV “How was Mumbai?” Cece sucked air through her teeth and grinned, not at all surprised that her mother knew she was standing in the office doorway before she’d even made a sound. Catherine didn’t bother looking up from whatever she was typing into her laptop, either. “Really good.” “Good, sweetheart.” Catherine did look up then, smiling at her daughter from where she sat behind her large desk. Her mother and father often shared an office space for work in their home, and then sometimes, they went through little spats where both of them swore they couldn’t stand to work in the same space anymore. Cece didn’t know what they w...

Outtake: For Love #Lucian #Lucia

Hey, loves! It’s Friday, and of course, that means we’re back for yet another outtake. Sometimes, I honestly think I want to take a break from these just because. Not any particular reason—sometimes it just feels good to take a proper break. But then I open up the request form and find one of these, smile like crazy, and get to work. This one is for Tori—she signed her request so I would know it was for her. Besides that, please remember, I am not currently opening up the form for new requests until I work my way through a good portion of them. That may take a couple of months or even more. Who knows. For now, just enjoy. * A Lucian Outtake For Love Lucian POV “Daddy?” “Hmm, yes?” Lucian glanced down to find his six-year-old, Lucia, grinning up at him in that sweet way of hers. A way that reminded him so much of her mother. More than she, or even Jordyn, would ever know. Sure, Lucia looked a lot like him, too, and she was his namesake until the very end. He made sure of that. She took ...

AMA - You Ask, Bethany Answers!

Hey, loves! We're back for our next AMA. If you have a question for me, you can drop it into the form HERE . This is not for outtake requests. Those will be deleted. * 1. Does Antony and Cecilia die so far? They get mentioned less and less in the most recent books of their grandchildren.  I would love to see how the family honor their incredible legacy.  Hey there. If they're dead, readers won't know about it. It won't be mentioned at all. There seems to be a subset of my readers, a small set, that would like to see some kind of funeral or something to honor those two. But there is a larger subset of my readers who have asked repeatedly for me not to put their death on paper. So, if you've been following along with ages - or you've kept some kind of time line for this world, you would know where we are right now in terms of ages. And that's really all I am willing to say on the matter. No, I'm not putting a death on paper of previous characters I have gi...

The Cece & Juan Vignettes: Chapter Thirteen - Mother's Daughter

Hey, loves! We’re back again for another chapter of The Cece & Juan Vignettes. Hope you love it. Do you need to catch up? CHAPTER ONE CHAPTER TWO CHAPTER THREE CHAPTER FOUR CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER SIX CHAPTER SEVEN CHAPTER EIGHT CHAPTER NINE CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER ELEVEN CHAPTER TWELVE Chapter 13 – Mother’s Daughter Cece POV 18 years old … Mumbai The hammock rocked back in forth in a breeze that smelled like paradise. Cece wasn’t making it move, but she didn’t feel unsafe either, considering Juan had her wrapped tight in his arms while he foot on the ground did the work of keeping them moving. The trees blocked most of the bright afternoon son from her line of view, and the heat was just delicious enough to keep her in that tiny white bikini she knew Juan loved to hate, and hated to love. Everybody looked her way when she wore that. Even him. “When we get back,” she started to say. “Hmm?” His hum echoed in her ear, making her smile. “I don’t think I’m returning to college,” Cece said. ...

Outtake: The Truth #Cara #Tommas #Gian

Hey, loves. We’re back for another outtake on this wonderful Friday. Once again, for this I pulled from the requests. And frankly, this specific outtake wasn’t so much a request as someone simply asking something with Cara and Tommas. Well, this moment has been weighing on my mind for a while. It was bound to happen, and I thought … why not write and kill two birds with one stone by fulfilling the reader’s request? Remember also, that I am not currently posting the outtake form so that I can work through some of the requests already in there. I literally have a whole pile. It does get overwhelming at times when I write like one a week and then get like 15 requests every Friday at the same time. Now … onto the outtake. * The Truth Tommas & Cara Tommas POV “Gian,” Tommas greeted. Standing in the entryway of the Trentini mansion, Gian kept his back to Tommas while he stared out the side window next to the grand doors. “Tommas—we made it up the driveway this time, at least.” “A feat, w...
