Outtake: One More Time #Cece #Juan

Hey, loves! We're back for another outtake this month and also the last outtake this month as I have some interesting things happening next Friday. We'll resume outtakes next month.  This is also the final outtake I have planned for Cece and Juan unless someone manages to get me interested with an outtake idea for them. This was an outtake I felt was so far in the future from the ending place of the blog series that I thought it would likely be better as a regular Friday outtake. Thanks so much for loving my words, babes. XO. BK * One More Time A Cece & Juan Outtake Cece POV * "Are you looking, Ma? Are you watching?" The shouts of her sweet girl had Cece lifting her gaze from the thread that she'd been picking at on the blanket keeping her safe from the sand. She found her daughter running across the beach, each step sending sand flying up around her bare feet. She would never understand why she kept trying to keep the sand out when frankly, it always found a ...

Outtake: Babies #Cece #Juan

Hey, loves! We are back for another outtake! I promised one this Friday and of course, I came to deliver. Just a heads up about this month - the only Friday in November that we won't have an Outtake is Black Friday. I have other things planned for that day and adding an outtake is just a bit much. ;)  This is also one of the last outtakes that I had sketched out for Juan and Cece but, in the end, felt it would be a better fit for Friday outtakes instead of their blog series. Okay, that's all for that. Onto the outtake. * Babies A Cece & Juan Outtake Cece POV The scariest part of any flight was always the landing. For Cece, anyway. The plane hit the ground, and the lurch that followed always had her heart dropping into her stomach as though she were about to meet her maker. Oh, the fear was entirely pointless. Her pilot--as she only flew private unless she absolutely couldn't --had never even had an incident. The jet was practically brand new, considering she'd repla...

Cece & Juan Vignettes - The Complete Blog Series!

Hey, loves! As promised, I did compile The Cece & Juan Vignettes into a proper ebook for anyone who wants it to download and sideload it on their device. Also a quick side note: you can plug in your email by clicking the SUBSCRIBE at the top of the blog and you'll get an email every time I make a new post on the blog. Back to Cece & Juan, though. These files will also be added to the website in the coming weeks but because this series was exclusive to the blog, it will stay only on the blog to download for just a bit. For reference: The MOBI file is for Kindles*. EPUB is for all other devices. PDF is just because some people prefer it, and I take three extra minutes to make one for you. Downloads: Cece & Juan Vignettes | MOBI Cece & Juan Vignettes | EPUB Cece & Juan Vignettes | PDF Enjoy, loves. Once more, thanks to Sasha for making the cover for this blog series. I cannot wait to share what she came up with for the next blog series. Soon, soon . And a side note...

Outtake: Four Queens #CeceJuan

Hey, loves! Sorry this is so late today. It's been a day.  We’re back for the next outtake of the month, and this was one of those pieces for Cece and Juan that I had sketched out for their blog series, but felt would probably be better as just an outtake – mostly because I felt the natural end was where I had it, and anything further didn’t fit the constant narrative of the blog series which had mostly been them finding their way into a stable HEA moment. This a snapshot after that. Enjoy. * A Cece & Juan Outtake Four Queens Cece POV A streak of muted yellow warmed a streak of the off-white bundle wrapped in soft, off-white muslin. The ray of sunlight peeked through the slate in the hotel room’s blinds. It was early enough that just three weeks ago, Cece wouldn’t have dreamed of rolling over in bed. Now, she was usually up before the sun even thought to say hello. For good reason. One she didn’t mind. “Shhhh,” she said, a soft murmur as much as the sound was musical at the sam...

The Cece & Juan Vignettes: Chapter 18 - Wedding Bells

Hey, loves! We’re back for the final chapter of the blog series. I know some people will want to see more from Cece and Juan - ie kids, more of Nazio, yadda yadda, haha - and you will get a couple of outtakes from them. But I felt they were better suited as outtakes and less as a part of their blog series. But I felt this particular piece below was the best ending place for their blog series as a whole. Thanks so much for coming along the ride with me. And once again, shout out to Sasha who did the cover for this blog series - it still makes me grin to see it, I loved it.  Next blog series will start posting in a month-ish ... it's not who you think! It will be a shorter blog series than the past two with maybe only a few chapters ... but we'll get there.  Hugs, loves.  XO BK Do you need to catch up? The entire series is now finished. The Cece & Juan Vignettes: Chapter 17 - An Announcement

Hey, loves! We’re back for the next chapter of the Cece & Juan Vignettes. A note about this vignette: if you want to see the--kind of/was it?--proposal between Cece and Juan, that was written in the Cross + Catherine companion. You can grab it HERE . We have exactly one chapter left to this blog series. You will see the occasional outtake from Cece & Juan but I feel they are better separate from this blog series.  And something new?  My Ko-fi .  I have gotten a few messages from people who - tend to think I give a lot of content to my readers for free without asking for something in return.  A couple things.  I do outtakes, blog series, and any other extra bits on here, in my group and whatever because I want to. I like doing these. If I need a break, or I need to slow down - I actually have, in some aspects - then I will do that, and of course, let you all know.  I do, in a way, feel like my readers give me quite a bit in their support of me - by b...
