The #NazandRoz Series - Chapter 7

Hey, loves! We’re back to the Naz and Roz blog series, where once a week, I add a chapter. Enjoy.  Want to catch up? Naz and Roz Blog Series CHAPTER ONE CHAPTER TWO CHAPTER THREE CHAPTER FOUR CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER SIX CHAPTER SEVEN CHAPTER EIGHT CHAPTER NINE CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER ELEVEN * The Aftermath (of England): Part 1 Roz POV Naz was funny in the way he would much rather rent an Airbnb, even if he was only staying in a place for a couple of days, than a hotel room. Roz never understood why, but that’s how it worked for him. She thought it was probably because he didn’t feel at home in a hotel room, or maybe because over the years, he’d stayed in a lot of hotels when he traveled. But who was to say? Nonetheless, when he figured out she wasn’t going to be leaving England for at least another week, the first thing he did was call back home, and get things settled there. The second thing he did was get on the laptop, and rent them an Airbnb because as he said, he wasn’t sleeping in a...

AMA - You Ask, Bethany Answers!

Hey, all! We’re back to AMA Tuesday. You ask me all your burning questions, and I do my very best to answer them as honestly as I can. All right, so do you have a question for me? Great. Drop about in HERE . Now, onto the questions for the week. * 1. Do you mentor new or unestablished authors? Hi there. My first inclination when I went to answer this question was no … but that’s actually not the case. I don’t mentor new or unestablished authors on an official basis. But there have been cases in which people I would consider friends have approached me after writing a book like, “What do I do now?” And I have kind of been alongside them right up until the point that they published the novel. I have had other author friends who come to me with questions because they know I excel in a certain area of this business, and they want my opinion on what they should do, which in a way … is mentoring, I guess. But no, I don’t do this on an official basis. For one thing, because it’s skeevy as fuck...

The #NazandRoz Series - Chapter 6

Hey, loves! We’re back to the Naz & Roz series where once a week, I add a new chapter.  Want to catch up? Naz and Roz Blog Series CHAPTER ONE CHAPTER TWO CHAPTER THREE CHAPTER FOUR CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER SIX CHAPTER SEVEN CHAPTER EIGHT CHAPTER NINE CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER ELEVEN * England: Part 3 Naz POV NAZ The thing Naz hated the most about countries he wasn’t familiar with? The fact that he didn’t know where anything was. He swore it felt like the cab he had managed to hail just drove around aimlessly for twenty minutes even though he knew the driver was actually taking him to the hospital. But to him, because he didn’t know any of these streets or where to go for the hospital, it just seemed like the guy was driving aimlessly. It was only made worse by the fact that Naz didn’t actually know what in the hell was going on. He’d gotten a text from Roz with the same of a hospital, and told him to get there now . He came to England to surprise her, and to get ...

WIP Wednesday: Dirty Pool #MichelandGabbie

Hey, loves! I technically finished Gabbie and Michel's book today, but for the smexy scenes as I like to leave those for last and to do them on their own day, but since today is Wednesday, I figured ... well, one last WIP Wednesday for them would be fine, right? Do enjoy. *** “What good would it do me to tell you to stay away from the lad, hmm?” her father demanded sharply. “I think I have said more than enough over the last several months since you’ve run around with the prick that it’s clear I don’t approve . But whatever it is, you’re determined to see it through, so I might as well let you get it out of your system now before reality comes to wake you up.” ‘What does that even mean?” Charles scrubbed a hand down his face. “You’ll learn in time. As I intend.” “I—” “And as for that Italian fecker ,” her father continued, “he needs to pick a side, Gabbie. If he wants to entertain the Italians in the daytime, and then shift with my daughter in the shadows when no one is looking, th...

AMA - You Ask, Bethany Answers!

Hey, all! We’re back to AMA Tuesday where I answer all your burning questions, or try to, anyway. Haha. Sometimes I get rambling, and you know. All right, so do you have a question for me? Great. Drop about in HERE . Now, onto the questions for the week. * 1. HOW IS CATCAT?! LOL, I like how this question was put in with all caps. I can literally hear your shouting that at me, just for the record. No, I kid, mostly. So for those who don’t follow me on Instagram because I’m not actually sure if I shared it anywhere else … a couple weeks ago, CatCat, my beloved cat who I have had since before my second son was born, came home with a bad injury on his head. And by bad, I mean … half of the hide on his head was basically dead, and they actually had to take it off during surgery because the skin was not alive and would not actually heal. So they cut him down his cheek, and up to his ear, and all the way down into his eyelid, stretched the skin as much as they could to have it cover as much o...

The #NazandRoz Series - Chapter 5

Hey, loves! Welcome back to the Naz & Roz blog series where once a week, I update with a new chapter. Enjoy.  Want to catch up? Naz and Roz Blog Series CHAPTER ONE CHAPTER TWO CHAPTER THREE CHAPTER FOUR CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER SIX CHAPTER SEVEN CHAPTER EIGHT CHAPTER NINE CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER ELEVEN * England: Part 2 Naz/Roz POV NAZ “Business or pleasure, sir?” Naz looked up from the line he’d been standing in for well over an hour to see a custom’s agent arching a brow at him. Apparently, he was the next to go through— finally , why did customs always have to take forever no matter which country you were traveling into?—the line to get his shit checked. “Pleasure,” Naz replied, smirking just a bit. Yeah, pleasure seemed like the right way to say it. He certainly had business in this part of the world, but that had nothing to do with why he was here right now. In fact, he might regret this split decision later, but right now, he seriously doubted it. “Bag on...
