We’re back for another AMA where you ask me all the questions, and I do my best to answer them. Please remember, I do these a month ahead of time, so if you’re wondering where your question is, it’s probably already done and in the queue to be posted.

1. Hi Bethany, you are such an amazing writer! Girl, I AM HOOKED! The Marcello boys, JUST WOW! I want them all! I just finished the Gun Moll series (loved it) and I was wondering if Enric & Victoria will get a book? I did some research, in case you did answer this question already, and you did mention on Goodreads that there was a book....

And yes, thank you for looking to see if there was already an answer out there for you to reference. I appreciate that.

So long story short, we absolutely intended to write a book for Enric and Victoria, we wrote a portion of it, but then we had to put it on the back burner for reasons. There is a chance we will get back to it, finish it, and publish it.

But for right now, it is shelved. It’s also why I try not to announce books before they’re written, etc, because things happen. That’s the nature of this business.

2. Hey Bethany, let me start of with saying that I am huge fan of your work!!! Whenever I feel down, I come back to your books which eventually if not at first bring smile to my face. So my question for you is are we going to get any legacy books for other children from The Chicago world, apart from the one we already have ( Effortless & Captivated)? Do you have vision for anyone else say for Alessa & Adriano’s daughters and also Tommas & Abriella’s daughters?

And thank you – I am glad I can be somewhere you go to escape the rest of the world. That’s kind of the fun part of being a reader. We can live in many different worlds for a time, if we don’t like what’s happening in the real world.

As for your question …

For whatever reason, a lot of the Chicago second generation just didn’t have much to tell me. They’re not loud in my head, you know? It’s not something I can really help, and I make my best effort not to force stories for characters. When I do that, I feel like my readers can tell it’s not as natural as genuine.

So for now … nope, I don’t have any plans for Alessa/Adriano’s daughters, or for Tommas and Abriella’s daughters. They’re not in my head, and I don’t have anything to tell for them. To be honest, that was sort of how I knew this world was coming to an end because the characters stopped talking as much as they used to.

The new world will have lots of people to love, and hate.

3. Can I get signed paperbacks directly from you?

Yes, absolutely. Just message me, on Facebook or Twitter or wherever you usually talk to me, and we can work that out. So yep, I can do that as long as I have the paperbacks you want on hand, and if I don’t have said paperbacks on hand, then I can order them for you.

4. I noticed you have a couple of very fantasy-esque Pinterest boards, so does that mean we'll get some books like that from you?

Ha, chances are yes … when I can’t say, and it will probably be with a new penname, but with the BK name attached to help my readers find it easier for a time, but yes. I am working on that, having fun with some new stuff, and just stretching my writing a little bit. I get to step outside of the box, and I really enjoy doing that.
